What Are Funds From Donations and Product Purchases Used For?
The Chico Outsiders help operate and maintain disc golf equipment in Chico. We have specific financial obligations with the City of Chico at Peregrine Point. Those obligations include providing insurance, paying for annual monitoring of botanical assets, and maintaining the equipment at the site. The existance of a non-profit is also a requirement for Peregrine Point to remain open to the public. The majority of funds raised are applied to keeping the Peregrine Point site open to the public.

Some funds are also used to augment or improve other disc golf opportunities, such as the installation of obstacles or improvements at Sherwood Forest or in the many local parks where we've installed practice targets. Additionally, the Chico Outsiders have no paid employees, and minimal overhead. As such, we are extremely efficient in our use of donated funds. Your donation will be used to support recreation in our local parks.

About Donations
Donations may be made by cash, check, or credit card. Credit card donations are processed by Click and Pledge a leading online card processor that specializes in supporting non-profits. All donations are paid to the Outsiders under our 501(c)(3) public charity corporation Outside Recreation Advocacy, Inc. Most, if not all of your donation will be tax exempt. In addition to making a donation, please consider becoming a member by visiting our membership page.
   
Make a Contribution
You may make a financial contribution of any size, to the Outsiders. These contributions are tax exempt. This money will be used to support recreation in our community through programs such as discs for kids, or through projects like the Sherwood Forest, or Peregrine Point disc golf course. This link may also be used to set up a recurring payment. For example, you can donate $100 at a rate of $10/month. To do this you would select the $10 donation, and click the recurring payment option. Select "Month" and type "10" into the Periods box.
 
Purchase Fundraising Discs , Minis, T-Shirts, or Bag Tags
 
Peregrine Point fundraising discs and T-shirts help support the disc golf course at highway 32. The custom stamps were designed by Chico artist Gregg Payne.

T-shirts come in blue, black, green. and brown and in adult sizes S,M,L,XL, and 2XL. They cost $15 each (see colors here) and use stamp "D".

We have putters and drivers available with the custom Peregrine Point stamp. The putters are DX plastic beaded Aviars from Innova ($12). The drivers are champion plastic Sidwinder ($17)and Monarch ($17), pro plastic Katana ($16), star plastic Vulcan ($17) with Stamp "D".

Stamp "F" is used on the following drivers. champion plastic Ape ($17) and star plastic Wraith, Beast, and San Marino Roc ($17).

Peregrine Point mini discs are also on sale for $3.

Bag Tag Member (SOLD OUT):
Cost:  $25 annually.  Bag tag membership starts on April 1st and ends the following year on March 31st.  Bag tags will be on sale from April 1st through the final bag tag event held in October.  Membership benefits continue until the next year’s tags go on sale.
